The School of Nursing was recently ranked 14th in National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding among schools of nursing and 9th among public universities, according to recently released data compiled by the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research. The School of Nursing and Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing received $5.3 million from NIH during the federal fiscal year ending in September 2022.
