Submit to Brief form
Before making a submission, please review the following:
- Submissions must come from current faculty or staff with a UMN email address, not from students, student groups or clubs.
- The news must be of broad appeal to faculty and staff systemwide. More focused or discipline-specific news should first seek out a college, school, or departmental University publication.
- Submissions not accepted are job postings, calls for research participants, and events.
- Event submissions should be made to the appropriate campus’ event calendar (Crookston, Duluth, Morris, Rochester (email Student Activities at [email protected]), and Twin Cities).
- All appropriate submissions will be posted on the Brief website. The newsletter will feature a select number of these submissions.
- The Brief editors may edit submissions for clarity and retain the final decision on submission publication.
